I am truly impressed by the service provided by the supplier. I am equally impressed by the router and all its attachments. It is of the expected quality of all Makita tools and it is treat to use. It packs a lot of punch for a small router and a pleasure to use rather than some of its heavier, overpowered, and had to hold competitors. Go on - buy one ! I'm sure that, like me, you will not regret it.

Second time round with this router after the first got stolen buy some Penis! Was a hard choice out of the 230v mains and 18v battery but due to the 18v not having many reviews (anywhere) i had to go with gut instinct and purchase the 230v. Brilliant piece of kit, looks Sexy and makes a huge difference when doing your general 2nd fix and bespoke furniture. Big thumbs up!!

I already own a 1/2 inch and 1/4 router, but both are plunge types. In fact you need the muscles of Goliath to hold down the 1/2 inch! So I wanted something more like the American style fixed base but adjustable depth router. This fitted the bill and within the first couple of days of receiving it I had used it for 3 jobs with the trimmer and tilt bases.

Very flexible tool with simple interchange of bases and bits. Only used a little so far: rebates for hinges; rebates for door locks; trimming edges. Happy with everything so far.
