Makita DUN500WZ 18v LXT Cordless Brushless Adjustable Head Pole Hedge Trimmer Body Only

Fast delivery. Makita cordless Hedge Trimmer. Sharp, powerful, lightweight, long reach. Got Makita tools already so have 4 batteries. I’ve got massive leylandii hedge, went through it like butter. On number 3 speed you’ll get around 45 mins to 1 hr run time. No more noise, no mixing petrol, no stalling, starts immediately. Cannot go wrong, lovely piece of kit.

Terrific tool, replacing a petrol cutter. It has more power, is lighter and makes less noise. Should have bought one years ago!

Good sized cut and very efficient. Better than my old petrol model by far.

Nice piece of kit. Handles fairly thick branches well. Middle speed setting is more than adequate for the majority of tasks. Battery life is fair (old 3AH lasts around 40mins). The balance is not quite right for me, being front heavy, adjusting the clip mount to slide it forward helped. The speed setting and lockout resets after just a few seconds, much to fast for myself (just a few seconds longer would be good), it encourages blipping the trigger to stop it resetting, which is likely more dangerous. All together a good tool with a firm and sturdy feel to it.

The timber works exceptionally well and seems very robust. The only down side as mentioned in previous reviews is that the safety run cut out works to quickly and so you are always having to locate the on switch (Which is small ) to turning back on again

I have a normal length hedge trimmer (DUH523Z) but this longer is much easier to use on thelarge, straggling rose bushes in my garden. Well worth the money.
