The Makita LXT DUH523 is a useful cordless hedge cutter packed with great features. It has a unique anti-vibration system with 5 dampers to greatly reduce the amount of vibration to the operator which eases the hedge cutting process. It has the ability to change blade without dissembling the housing. Powered by a single Makita 18v lithium-ion battery.

“This hedge trimmer looks and feels just right for me (as an older lady) to handle although I have not had the opportunity to use it yet, due to the winter weather, so I cannot comment on how efficient it is. However, we own lots of Makita power tools so I am confident that it will be perfect for trimming our one 3-metre long laurel hedge two or three times a year. It feels well balanced once the battery is attached and it's not too heavy. I'm looking forward to using it when the weather allows.”

“Excellent - light, goes through hedge like butter. One battery lasted for whole (larger) garden with loads of charge still left. Highly recommend. Great service and fast delivery too”
