The Makita LXT DUH523 is a useful cordless hedge cutter packed with great features. It has a unique anti-vibration system with 5 dampers to greatly reduce the amount of vibration to the operator which eases the hedge cutting process. It has the ability to change blade without dissembling the housing. Powered by a single Makita 18v lithium-ion battery.

“As hedge trimmers go this is a good piece of kit. Much lighter than the petrol version we have used for years. It isn't the most powerful & I was a little worried it would struggle, but so far has made easy work of trimming the hedges. Cuts a dream.”

“I already had a couple of Makita 18v power tools and batteries so this seemed like a sensible purchase to replace our trusty old cable powered hedge trimmer which had died. I was not disappointed. The LXT is quiet, light but powerful enough to takle our beech hedge and our fir hedges.”
