The Makita LXT DUH523 is a useful cordless hedge cutter packed with great features. It has a unique anti-vibration system with 5 dampers to greatly reduce the amount of vibration to the operator which eases the hedge cutting process. It has the ability to change blade without dissembling the housing. Powered by a single Makita 18v lithium-ion battery.

“Maybe a little on the expensive side but I've had plenty of Makita tools over the years and never let me down. It uses the same batteries as my drill and impact driver, so buying body only wasn't an issue. Very pleased with its performance, just make sure your batteries have a good amount of charge in them.”

“I expected a not very powerful machine but I was wrong. Should have known a makita tool would be brilliant. Full size trimmer. Cuts easily up to 10mm.”

“Very well made product. Lighter and quieter than I expected, so VERY easy to use. My 18v 4amp standard Makita battery perfect and last a long time, so can easily tackle a most job. Easily cleaned and blade easily removed. Great quality.”
