Replaces DUB361ZMakita DUB362Z Twin 18v LXT Brushless Cordless Blower Body Only
The Makita DUB362 has been developed to be one of the most powerful cordless blowers that outperforms competing models. It is powered by 2x 18v Makita lithium-ion batteries that supply the powerful 36v DC motor drive system. Featuring a dual battery fuel gauge which tells you when each battery is running low so you can get the task done. The powerful brushless motor has a longer run time of up to 61 minutes on low and 9.5 minutes on high (when using a 4.0Ah battery). Giving a 54m/sec air velocity on hi and 27m/sec on low which is controlled with a variable speed control trigger through 6 stages. The trigger can be locked on and is operable from either side of the handle for maximum user comfort. The 3 stage telescopic long nozzle has a 100mm adjustment range and the best grip to frame angle provides optimum nozzle to ground angle for efficient blowing operation. This lightweight and compact machine offers fantastically low noise levels and zero emissions.
The Makita twin 18v battery concept offers an expanding range of machines that utilise the established 18v lithium-ion battery capacity to deliver high power 36v performance whilst offering an economic purchase solution for existing Makita tool owners.

Very powerful. Other reviewers have noted that batteries are consumed very quickly and I find this is so, even using 5AH batteries. Having said that, I have a petrol blower/vac that equally consumes half a litre of mix very rapidly compared to other equipment. Normally however, I mostly use a lower setting, 4 on the dial, and in brief bursts to round the leaves up en masse in one direction rather than on max power which just blasts them everywhere in a leaf storm. It is obviously much quieter to others who may be within earshot than a petrol blower but it is still recommended that the operator wears ear defenders. The sound is high pitched rather than loud and deafening. I also find it is so powerful that my overalls get sucked onto the air intake if I am not careful to keep the unit rear end away from my clothing. Very handy for a quick leaf blast session with no petrol to mix and no fumes. I use a double battery charger and have spare 5AH batteries on hand so run time is not a problem. Powertool World prices are very competitive on this size of battery so worth buying extras when you purchase this tool.

This is a great tool. Lightweight and very, very powerful. Unless you have a lot of land it's far better than the petrol machines which I also have as there's no exhaust fumes, there's a lot less noise and you don't even have to pull a starter cord.I use mine indoors to clean out my workshop which it's brilliant at.

Good machine, initially bought to dry my car after washing. Works amazing at this, but you will need good wax or ceramic coating on car for it to work/water to bead. Wife has also used for blowing leaves and cut grass. Has plenty power. Only downside is it only lasts around 8 mins. But our makita batteries are 8 yrs old.

Well balanced, well built and very powerful, it does eat batteries on full power though! (~15 minutes with 2x 5Ah batteries on max)

I found it light enough to handle, no cords getting in the way, it's very easy to use, even for a short female like me, it is powerful, and moves leaves effortless.
