Not hugely different to any other inflator, but a great addition to my LXT range and does a great job! So far seems very easy on the batteries

The usual Makita build quality (superb). This has a strong compressor and inflates quick, is surprisingly compact, the batteries are great for those that have bought into the Makita family. Do what i did though and chop the hopeless handle valve lock off and replace it with a screw on straight through. You can set the pressure prior to inflation and it stops when it is achieved. Holding in the trigger is not ideal, but it only takes a few seconds to inflate anyway so, meh. Pros: Compact Fast inflation Works with Makita 18V batteries Good build quality Cons: Adaptor is hopeless (chop it off and replace it with a screw on hose) Works with Makita 18V batteries Holding in the trigger during inflation

Absolutely brilliant. Had tried a digital version with screw on end from Halfords which was supposed to be the bees knees but nowhere near as easy to use and robust as the Makita just as you come to expect from them. Just buy it. It’s a snip too at the price.

Great addition to my Makita tools. I wanted a battery powered one as it was bought mainly to inflate my motorcycle tyres so didn’t have a 12v socket to hand and can’t be bothered fitting one and this is perfect for the job, it inflates quickly and the pressure gauge is ok. It can be set so once it reaches the correct pressure it shuts off. You have to keep the trigger pressed to inflate as it has no lock but it’s fine as it is quick. Also has a built in light for when light is poor and comes with a couple of adaptors for different valve types.
