This saw is a must for general rip-outs and removing structural and also stubborn materials. Its been one of my best buys recently. The amount of time and effort saved is immediate. I am sure the machines' longevity is not as proficient as the brush-less versions, however it meets the job head on and performs above average subject to battery capacity. - And the price is comparable with corded versions. Like a jig saw... the blades need to be compatible with the task....and if the the relationship between the blade and the material is aligned then just the weight of the machine and the saw blade will do the work. Highly recommended.......
