Solid built as one would expect but for one issue, the fwd, back and lock switch which for some reason I manage to change when using. It is easy to move it and on a few occasion I have tried drilling in reverse mode. Surly it could be improved so it takes a bit of effort to move it. Overall it’s robust, well built and as a DIY it more them exceeds the requirements I need it for.

This is my second Makita drill driver and though I have not used it yet (Christmas presi) I am sure it will be every bit as good if not better than my first one.
