Very well made, plenty of torque at low speed would have preferred a metal chuck but I'm not a heavy drill user just a home DIY guy so uplift in cost didn't seem worth it - needn't have worried its still very well made and it's a little ripper - couldnt be happier - hopefully get a long life span out of it but I trust Makita

The one fault with my old Makita drill is that the chuck gripping jaws wear and f do ont grip so well. I’ve tried to replace the chuck on previous drills but have never succeeded in releasing the old one. This bare drill unit is a good solution as the batteries and charger are still good.
