The Makita DC18RD twin 18v Li-ion charger, charges 2 Makita 18 volt LXT lithium-ion batteries simultaneously. The rapid charge technology selects the optimum voltage and current and temperature is controlled by the forced air system that circulates air through the battery to prevent overheating. and a full charge sound alert confirms when the charge cycle is complete.

“Large, but effective charger that gives you all of the information that you need about battery state, charging status and actual charging. Double charging means that , if you have a number of Makita power tools to be used at the same time, battery availability should not be a problem, always assuming that you have enough batteries. A good charger that, replacing a single charger, has made a great deal of difference to my house renovation.”

“Have had the single rapid charge charger but decided too treat myself to the double one. Only used today but must say I'm impressed. Will now be able to charge two batteries at once. Shopped around and found this at the best price. Highly recommended seller. Swift delivery. I could ask for no more!”

“I have seen other contractors on a lot of sites use these but I never realised just just how great these dual chargers are, obviously you can charge two batteries at once and on one power supply this is both a real time saver and great if you have limited PowerPoints. The other brilliant thing about this charger is that not only does it have a triple indicator light system for Charging/Charged or Broken which also has diagrams, it also has the audible beep for fully charged which can be changed to musical tunes and you can have a different tune on each charging port so you don't have to look at the charger to see which battery is fully charged which is a fantastic idea. Top Tool, Top Marks I should have got one much sooner. I would also like to add that Power Tool World really impressed me as they delivered my charger on time (especially while everyone is in lockdown with Covid19 going on), the parcel was really well wrapped and protected for transit to my door and the price for this charger was really competitive too. A REALLY BIG THANK YOU TO ALL CONCERNED AT POWER TOOL WORLD AND PLEASE KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK. from a very very satisfied customer.”
