“The above jigsaw, being cordless & in the Flexvolt category is part of Dewalt's latest technology. Ergonomic, clean lines, & surprisingly lightweight; the battery pack is mounted at the rear, so it's clear-away & doesn't interfere with actual operation. The solid metal housing too, is a nice, robust touch; easy loading of (any)T-shaped blade, & with a scuff proof foot protector. Even as a naked unit, the saw comes with a dust extractor attachment (which, as with most DW power tools, is standard). For me, the most innovative aspect of this saw is the blower mechanism at the front end, between the saw blade jaws - neatly 'pushing' the cutting dust forward & out from the work piece, offering unparalleled clarity to any marking out lines; the body is also heavy enough to make straight cuts very positive. A switch lever at the rear of the unit allows lateral movement of the foot plate for angled cutting up to 45 degrees. Absolutely brilliant piece of kit !!”
