I was trying to decide between the Dewalt and the Paslode framing nailers, it finally came down to 'price per shot'. And without a doubt the Dewalt wins hands down; when it comes to performance I feel it's a tie with the Paslode taking the lower weight crown. So my final thought would be if you want to fit in with the crowd then buy a Paslode, if cost per nail is an issue (and you want to use the batteries on your other Dewalt tools) then buy this framing nailer.

Bought as a replacement for a gas powered gun that became very unreliable. Have only used it once and I must say I'm quite impressed. It is slightly heavier than the gas one I had but not an issue. I was not prepared for the size of the storage case! I know it's designed for a pair of guns but bloody hell it only just fits in the van!!!
