DeWalt brought you the world’s first cordless first fix framing nailer and now they've improved it. Still coming with an efficient brushless motor but it now can run on DCB184 5.0Ah, DCB182 4.0Ah, or DCB183 2.0Ah battery packs (sold separately). The DCN692 benefits from longer runtime, quicker readiness to fire, less recoil and more durability when firing short nails. But what makes this first fix nailer so popular with is the fact it runs without gas.
Supplied body only. Batteries and chargers are sold separately.
FEATURES

Two speeds or power levels which optimises the nailer for firing all lengths of nails.
The sequential operating mode allows for precision placement and the bump operating mode provides the user with production speed
Mechanical rather than gas operation offers consistent performance at temperature between -20 and 50 degrees Celsius and minimal cleaning/service requirements
Class leading vibration and sound figures, offer fantastic user protection
Versatile 30 - 34 degree magazine angle will accept most clipped head, and off centre round head paper tape or wire weld collated framing nails
Reversible belt/rafter hook provides increased portability and versatility on the job-site
Depths can be easily adjusted using the thumb wheel depth adjuster Increased visibility and durability along with protection for work-surface from the non-mar contact-trip
Ergonomic tool design allows the nailer to fit easily between a 400mm centre stud
Gas free operation offers a significant saving in running costs
Tool free stall/jam clearance minimises user down time

Bought to replace a 10 foot run of fencing, that no local fencer would take on......I am an ancient, but keen DIY'er, and bought with trepidation......needn't have worried..... The tool performed flawlessly, not a single misfire in inexperienced hands, and the fence looks perfect, never known it wasn't professionally done, thanks to this great tool

I bought this nail gun after the pneumatic version packed up with a dangerous fault after only 3 months of proper use. This gun obviously doesn't need a hose being dragged to where you need it which is a lot more convenient. One of the things that became apparent with the previous gun was that when the nails ran out you weren't aware of it. This nail gun won't fire if there are no nails present so no more loose fixings. The anti-jam lever works well and I've only had to use it once. It's not as instant as the pneumatic version but you get used to it. Beats using a hammer any day.

This is the second one I have had, it works well and I didn't have to run it in. The first I had to fire over 500 nails before it was run in.
