Bought as a replacement for the same model that has just started to cause problems after 5 years of almost daily use as a combi drill in some occasionally challenging situations. That’s a compliment, not a complaint.

If you have got the battery, this is an improved combi drill compared with the previous model. Smooth action, good speed and power, positive switches and an improved work light. Now I'll keep my fingers crossed my 8-year-old 4Ah battery keeps working well.

the light in the base is a major improvement to having it up top now my hand dont get in the way of the light, grt all round rubberised grip creates a no slip tool with a changeable belt clip to the other side for us left handers, well done dewalt, more than powerful enough for those real tough jobs with plenty of punch for hard concrete this machine bangs like a good un! plenty of torque settings for screwdriving gives you scope from little to large & not forgetting the 2 speed box for the slow stuff, i couldnt as for more, i definitely made the right choice! & it works well & lasts with my 5amp battery! Thanks Dewalt you've done it again!
