Have long felt it would be a good idea to have a second cordless combi drill, and when I saw this one at a low price took the plunge. It's a much nicer drill than my existing Hitachi one. I hadn't appreciated how some things have advanced in the intervening years - like the one handed chuck operation.

Far better that my previous DeWalt 18v, more helpful features, I had just purchased new batteries for my old one which burnt out after many years of hard work so being able to use the batteries was a bonus, EXCELLENT.

This is an excellent drill and a considerable improvement on the previous model which I owned. It is very light and has a lot more power and torque. It’s also very ergonomic and fits in the hand easily. A friend of mine I was a seasoned craftsman witnessed me drilling holes in some thick timber and was very impressed and thought it was a considerable improvement over his Makita kit! I am very pleased with this drill, it is well made and should last a long time if it is well looked after. In conclusion I would have no hesitation in recommending this drill to either a tradesman or a DIYer.
