The quality could be better but husband managed to fit to wall. When first turned on the one went ‘phut’ . Having tested the bulb elsewhere it was deemed to be a fuse and thus was swapped and this worked. Once both set up above our bed these have proved excellent giving a good stream of light to read by. (Our old bedside lamps used same wattage bulbs but the light was filtered sideways through lampshades which gave a very dull light.) It is good to be able to swing the lights back into the corner or directly overhead and the ‘heads’ can be adjusted up and down as well as sideways. I also like the khaki flex which goes with the bedroom.

Wall fitting looks great, though I haven't yet filled it to the wall. Love its flexibility and classic design.

This is the second Pooky mains powered light I've bought that has been poor quality and I find myself unlikely to be able to return it. The light itself is OK, but the mounting bracket is poor, and when fitted the projection of the mounting bracket will not allow the light to sit fully flush against the wall. In addition, while the bracket is perfectly straight on the wall according to a spirit level, when the light is fitted to it, it is not straight. Really poor quality mounting hardware lets this down badly, and of course, once you fitted it there is no option to return according to their policy. It will have been the last light I buy from Pooky.

Really lovely light fitting, and elegant shape. The twisted cable is a nice feature, considering it hangs down the wall. Unfortunately, the shade is not able to hang completely vertical (the top hits the brass arm), so it has to be angled out - which looks fine but means that the light is brighter than I was hoping for and you can see the bulb. The photos of the fitting/shade next to beds show it accurately tilted, but the superimposed pics you see when scrolling for lampshades, show it vertical.

Great service and efficient delivery - light not up yet so too early to comment on quality

love it - looks great and is somewhat timeless - can look good in modern and more vintage settings

Looks great, as expected, and easy to install and use. I only wish the inline switch itself was a bit less plastic, since the lead is braided and thoughtfully considered. Please don't discontinue your switched wall lights, they are a wonder for those that want them but without the commitment or expense of having them chased into the wall.
