“I was looking for simple but interesting lamp bases as a gift to go with some lampshades I'd had made. The Pooky Sophie bases were just what I was looking for: well made and sturdy but looked elegant at the two ends of the recipient's sideboard. She was delighted. We both liked the traditional looking dark green flex as well.”

“Am very pleased with the table lamp.arrived well packed and i like the old fashioned cable . All seems very good quality.Love the colour of the lampshade. My only grumble is that when i turned on the light the colour of the shade was so different, its a pleated style and the colour is much paler and very transparent when lit.I have grown to like it but maybe it would be good if you could show on your website what the shade will look like when lit?But apart from that i am already looking for another shade on your site!”
