Really stylish lamp and well made. Fit's brilliantly with the rest of our furniture in the living room. Thinking of maybe getting another one :-)

Delivery was quick, price was very reaonable and the quality of the lamp was excellent. Solid brass, heavy and very well made. Was pleasantly surprised to see that the lamp had fittings for two bulbs. Lovely vintage cord too which was a bonus. GIves a lovely warm light. Saw the lamp in Elle decoration, visited the site, it said it had one left in stock so had to have it!! Unusual to have a bayonet fitting for a modern lamp but not a biggie for me. Will definately purchase more of pooky's gorgeous lighting in the near future!

Thanks Colin for the very fulsome feedback. We're delighted that you're pleased - and now we are too! With reference to the brass fitting, the feedback that we get is that customers in general (and of course that doesn't mean ALL customers) seem to like the retro feel of the brass bayonet fitting. They're a bit more expensive than the plastic E27 fittings but they are stronger and especially on more delicate lamp designs, seem to win the aesthetic contest! Anyway, many thanks for your email - much appreciated. Enjoy the upcoming festivities. Tim

Beautiful product but as it’s a metal shade, produces only downward light therefore not right for my room

Thanks for your review. Unfortunately if you are needing light produced upwards then a metal shade is definitely not the choice to go with. I would suggest sticking to a base that uses a fabric lampshade so that not only can you get some light through the shade itself you also have the hole at the top allowing light to shine upwards as well. Best wishes, Daisy
