“Very poor quality. The upright stick had a long crack (fault) over 4 inches long up the length. The point where the stick was stuck to the base was badly done with filler showing on one area. The white colour wash was patchy and basic. Very disappointed and returned immediately.”

Thank you for your review and sorry that you were unhappy. The lamp should definitely NOT have a crack and so thank you for bringing it to our attention and returning the product. We use mango wood for our lamps which is sourced sustainably but on rare occasions, the wood has not seasoned evenly and the wood splits when it leaves the humid conditions where it is made and arrives in the UK. Just a small note on the finish though. The finish is intended to be slightly distressed and this does mean there will be variances from what is pictured, if the distressing has been dialled up on a piece - it is all done by hand so variances will happen. Some people like the extra distressing and some people do not - but i'm sorry that you got one which was too much. Above all though, thank you for sending the feedback which is very helpful and will be used to try and ensure we always continue to improve. BEst wishes - Tim

“The lamp base is lovely, a pair look great in my bedroom. Only thing is they are a lot more white than the picture on line shows, so be careful if you are expecting a more ‘woody’ look. Otherwise perfect and good quality.”
