“I've just converted a boxroom to a study, and needed a lamp for the new desk. The Phileas is lovely, and gives flexibility when it comes to positioning the furniture, as I don't need to place it near the (limited) power sockets. The brass Ruckle shade looks good, but doesn't let a lot of light through. I already have a Hernan rechargeable lamp with a brass shade, so thought this would work as effectively, but the Hernan has the bulbs built into the base of the shade, so gives a better light. I'll be using the study after Christmas, so will get a better idea then about how effective this combination turns out to be, but it does look great.”

“The perfect lamp for any space! 20 shade looks great on it! We had been looking for a rechargeable lamp to go in our hallway but just couldn’t find one that wasn’t LED and super modern. We saw this lamp in a pub we recently stayed in and bought one immediately. I love the fact it still takes a light bulb and its 3 levels of light are really great.”
