“Very nice quality fixture, but be aware that there may be quite a lot of excess cord for the size of the ceiling fixture - in my case I had to strip the length back by about 50% and expose the wires myself as barely any cord fits inside the silver fitting. I bought the light kit to go with the Ted ceramic shade and have found it very difficult to attach the silver ring for the pendant shade securely because there is not enough space between the ceramic and the ring for your finger to tighten it. Overall, a big Pooky fan, though, and the fixtures look great in my kitchen.”

Hi Charles, So sorry to hear you have had an issue with a cross threaded shade ring. This can happen all to easily with fine brass fittings like ours but WD40 or similar should help.
