Hi Jonathan, I am so sorry to hear you were unhappy with the Gold Dotty shade. This is made from block printed cotton and has a very simple gold dotted design with a stretched cotton lining. It would be really helpful to try and understand what about the lampshade you felt seemed cheap in this instance.
