Thank you for your feedback. We are constantly striving to keep our pricing as low as possible, without cutting on quality. We provide lightbulbs in LED filament styles as these are aesthetically much nicer to look at and produce a lovely warm light in comparison to other LED styles but to maintain this look we cannot sell for any less then we already do. If you take a look online at other suppliers you will see that there is no-one selling this style as affordably as we do but I do appreciate it is a shock compared to lamp bulbs of old. Please remember that LED bulbs have a lifespan of 10,000 hours so you are getting a lot more bank for your buck! Best, Daisy
