“I have just started to try out the new to me, Rupes pads. I have used the Rupes Yellow and white compound with these pads. The result was amazing. Very fast to get a very decent shine and corrected a number of swirls in one go. The only thing I need to explore more is how to keep the pads clean when working. I did not think the pads liked to be brushed with the cleaning brush that I use. Have seen online that some use compressed air, but I do not have access to compressed air at home.
Cleaning issues reduced the review from 5 stars to 4 stars.”
“I have only had a test of these pads but very pleased with them, they correct well on light-medium defects but may need to be finished down depending on what compounds your using, and keep the panel temp down. One thing I found was it grabbed the paint a little more than the course wool but that maybe down to me not priming the pad properly.”
“Perfect for mild paint correction in one step with Mille fine polish with rupes LK900.
Can also be used as a second and final step on hard paint after Coarse wool pad with LK900 or after a wool pad with rotary polisher.”
