“First time using a ceramic coating and I was pleasantly surprised by how easy it was to apply, certainly no more difficult than applying a wax coating. The trick is to work carefully and methodically and not to rush. The instructions for use on the PB website are both comprehensive and easy to follow and the advice available from the PB team superb as always.”
“This is so easy to apply and remove. You get extra dwell time so it doesn’t harden as fast as other coatings (Safe for a few minutes rather that 30 seconds) Removal is really easy too. It levels and removes effortlessly. If only every coating could be like this. 12 months protection is great for such a minimal effort coating. Looks good too, plenty of Gloss”
“Having fully cleaned & prepped car, Gyeon primer was used as an initial base, left to cure & then finished with Prep. Gyeon One was then applied which went on & came off even easier - simple, car was left to cure overnight. Following day I applied a coat of cure to finish off. Initial thoughts - the silver metallic has a great depth of colour with the metallic popping out under the lights, in terms of longevity time will tell? Previously I’ve used Polish Angel Cosmic which is also easy to apply & gave a great finish. In terms of application, costs & finish I’d say both are similar, it helps that the cars garaged & doesn’t come out much in the winter? I’d say the overall finish is not quite as reflective as a good wax - prior to ceramic I am a great fan of premium wax’s & still think if you have the time to prep/apply they give fantastic results however for longevity coatings certainly deliver. Next job is the BNW touring, just waiting for a break in the weather & then I’ll be good to go hopefully pre Christmas time allowing. I’m looking forward to this as the car is a daily driver previously I had a Ceramic coat applied 12 months ago it’s lasted well hence the choice to try the new One kit to see if it delivers over a period of time?”
