Set up to halo unit was simple but can't seem to get it linked to my phone. Otherwise seems to work well.

Excellent thermostatic control unit, allowing my heating to be controlled via my smart phone. What's not to like!

I have an Ideal Logic Code Combi ESP1 38 and was going to install a Hive unit I already had, but have never really rated highly. Fitting the Halo WiFi was really easy, I had already seen a video online so had an idea of what to expect, my room stat was mains powered so there was a slight difference to the video in that I had to disconnect that inside the boiler and replace with a link, but all this was covered in the instructions. Installation took no more tha 15 mins then I setup a schedule on the app on my phone, which again was simple, I just edited the default schedule provided. I did have one oddity when setting the schedule, some of the morning hours that I wanted to use were greyed out and couldn't be used, but I got round it by setting the schedule from the evening backwards then when I got to the morning hours they were no longer greyed out. The room stat is a very sturdy piece of kit and is very simple to use. It even comes with a wall mounting plate and a desk stand!

Super easy to fit - check video on YouTube or Ideal's website. Exquisitely packaged! Easy to set up and it works well. Be careful of Alexa integration because that needs a Zigbee gateway/hub and not all Alexa products have that built in.
