“This is an excellent purchase, very competitively priced. As a novice plumber but with past welding/brazing experience I understand the principals of soldering. Hesitant as to which gas/gun combination to go for, I researched reviews from many sites. Most pro plumbers seem to appreciate the extra heat from MAPP gas especially when soldering with lead free solder (requires a little more heat than leaded), so it was my choice. The Rothenberger Sure Fire 2 gas torch gives instant ignition and a controlled flame anyway up. This purchase combination comes with a neat bag and 4 dividers that holds the 2 gas bottles and the torch head that came with the deal, with room for soldering mat, solder and flux. Keeps it all together for easy transport and storage. Great purchase.”
“Excellent bit of kit bought a cheep one years back only thing it was good for was lighting cigarettes and heat shrink. This one how ever is a lot more power full and better quality. This will last a very long time plus you can get spares bargain. Its a must tool for metal bending rusted bolts and obviously plumbing. Not tried yet but you can braze with it looking forward to doing that. I would recommend to anyone buy the best not the cheapest.”
