It's very rare for us to be disappointed in meat from Pipers but sadly on this occasion we were. The cooking instructions were followed but we found the Pork Leg very tough and the crackling didn't really crackle. We felt it was poor value and I would not buy again.

We absolutely loved the pork leg, the crackling crackled, and the meat was delicious, so tender and tasted like real pork. The best pork leg we have ever had.

This has proper flavour. I have stopped buying supermarket pork joints for roasting now because the Pipers Farm ones taste so different. I go for the leaner cut because we don't like crackling at all.
