Lovely bird. Bought one last Christmas and was very pleased with it so now my bird of choice and I will buy one from Pipers Farm again next year. It fed 4 adults and enough left over for an enormous pan of soup. Will never buy a turkey again.

Fantastic moist bird. Excellent flavour. It’s like the ultimate turkey (not turkey). Feeds a family of 6 perfectly. No waste. No dried up waste. Fast becoming my Xmas go to.

Roasted the bird according to Piper's Farm cooking instructions and got exactly the result I wanted....a delicious lunch of roasted cockerel.

The cockerel was full of flavour & very meaty. One minor criticism was that the dark meat was quite tough but this was to be expected in a free range bird

Bought a while back ,I bought a 5 kg Bird , lots and lots of very moist meat.Very tasty, Pipers Chicken has a good flavour and this lad was even more tasty. The meat literally fell off the bone. Much enthusiasm from the pack of fussy Chow Chows for the scraps. I would encourage anyone who hasn't had a Cockerel before to try one of these. Thank you big fella , I will remember you fondly.

Excellent! We really enjoyed it freshly roasted, then made brilliant stock from the carcass and are now enjoying the rest of the meat in different meals from the rest of the meat that we froze. Very tasty!
