I was amazed how much meat and fat are within these. I made a meat stock soup with them and it was so rich in flavour, and produced a beautiful gelatinous stock. I love how these are available to buy, honouring the whole creature is how I want to eat.

Makes wonderful chicken stock - far preferable to shop-bought stock cubes (I freeze mine in silicone muffin/mini muffin tins and then pop out and store in a bag in the freezer.

For anyone with auto-immune and/or IBS symptoms, these carcasses make the tastiest ever chicken bone broth to which you can add any type of vegetables you like to make the best ever soups. We also get a whole other meal out of the chicken left on the bone ;) Amazing value for money :)

I always include a few chicken carcasses with my order to make rich and tasty chicken stock. Value for money as the depth of chickeny flavour means I use it as a base for noodle soups, stews and curries.

I cooked two of these in the slow cooker, with some water. The meat falls off the bones, and provides sufficient meat for a family - or for the cats for a week! Very good value if you can't afford a whole chicken. Delicious!
