To be honest they looked a bit pale and flaccid and not at all like the crumbly topped versions on the website. I don't think the pastry was great and the meat quite chewy. Also very small even for one.

I wish we could have more of the lovely gravy to go with the pie and the potatoes and veg. Can extra gravy be acquired separately? Good pastry!

The pastry was 10/10. I ordered two and ate both in the same sitting they are that good! Rich venison, amazing inner filling. Filled me up with one but just couldn’t resist the second haha Luke

These pies are delicious. It’s good to fine a pie made with shortcrust rather than puff pastry, and this pastry is very good. The filling is generous and very tasty and the size is ideal.
