“The Pipers Farm cookbook is one of the best books I have bought in a long time. It's not just a cookbook , there is so much information about the land and how we use it and shows great respect not only for the land , but the animals and the environment. The knowledge , passion and care that you read in the book is almost tangible. I have been cooking for over 40 years and have many cookbooks , I love cooking with the seasons but and this is my new go to. It's points out the challenging times we live in and how we have changed in our everyday buying of produce and cooking , but it also gives you that cosy feeling of being at one with the land and the more we try to understand ,the better cooks we become and to support our local producers , not only for them , ourselves , but the animals , other produce and the environment . You only have to read the first few pages to appreciate the love and hard work that has gone into this book and also into their farm. Well done !”
