“Lovely dog friendly room with easy access to the grounds. Very friendly and helpful staff. Very good breakfast .Only down side drinks were over price but would definitely return and recommend.”

“Whilst we enjoyed our stay, we were left feeling disappointed. The warm welcome we expected towards our 4 legged friend was non existent, facilities for him did not exist. As this was our first experience of a pets pyjamas booking we had high hopes. The hotel/pub is very tired, yes it is old but age should not get in the was of cleanliness. Our room was dirty, very dusty, the bathroom needed a clean, so I mopped and cleaned it, the shower was unusable. The coffee cafetière still contained the previous coffee beans, and the room still had the welcome letter written to that person. We dined both nights, steak night is one to avoid unless you enjoy eating grizzle. Our feedback regarding the quality was ignored. Breakfast was poor, ingredients not available, and compared to the Anchor Inn it was incomplete.”

“The room was very dated The lamp by bed didn’t work The dressing area light switch was broken The bathroom was dirty Room way too hot Food was poor and didn’t know how to make an Irish coffee Would not return and expensive for what it was”

“Very welcoming with friendly and helpful staff. Cosy room with great food and our dog was welcome everywhere. Good location for dog walks and the Arboretum was stunning.”

“Couldn’t fault our stay at the kings arms! Reunion of my 4 sons plus girlfriends plus 7 month old vizsla!!!! Exceptional customer service and delicious food. Accommodation perfect for our needs. Highly recommend location etc perfect.”

“Found it quite easily inthe middle of small village.Good to use as a base for surrounding adventures and walks but do need the car alot.The Hotel was adequate and was lovely that our dog could go everywhere us if we were in the area again we would use it”

“Arrived in time for Sunday lunch to a very busy pub with helpful staff and great food, lots of nice walks for the dog from the hotel. Altogether a very enjoyable few days in a nice room with a bath and lots of character.”

“Lovely dog-friendly weekend getaway, in great location to Westonbirt Arboretum and Bath centre. We enjoyed a fab evening meal in the restaurant followed by drinks in the bar afterwards, all of which was dog-friendly. Gwen particularly enjoyed her cosy stay.”
