“Excellent, helpful staff. Everything you could ever need for your dog, bowl, treats, ball, towels and even poo bags. Human facilities are just as impressive”

Would you like to add any more feedback about your stay? Wouldn’t recommend classic room as too small for a dog however we upgraded and definitely worthwhile.

“We loved our stay at the Devonshire Arms - truly dog friendly, comfortable rooms and great walks on the doorstep. Many hotels claim to be dog friendly but it’s more dog tolerant whilst at this hotel we felt welcomed and our dog was part of the stay as we were able to eat at the Brassiere! We’ll definitely return.”

“The staff at this hotel were exceptional; all very friendly and helpful. They gave Henry, the canine guest, lots of fuss and attention, which he relished. The meal in the brasserie in the evening was lovely and breakfast was very good indeed. We had a lovely room overlooking the garden, and the welcome pack of dog treats and pooper scooper was a nice gesture. You can walk straight out of the hotel into fields and the walk to Bolton Abbey was very quiet and scenic. Lots of smells which my dog enjoyed, and very good paddling. Highly recommend”

“Lovely hotel and I had great room sort of separate to the main hotel which meant it was very quiet. In the hot weather it stayed very cool and was over two floors. Lovely food and great service but breakfast is slow despite booking a slot to arrive. I read this before visiting on trip advisor and didn’t order a cooked meal but waited over 20 mins for some toast one morning. Otherwise I had a great stay and the hotel is very dog focused with plenty of amenities for them and walks right from the hotel. Had two treatments in the spa which weren’t cheap but definitely worth it.”

“Made very welcome beautiful hotel comfortable all we needed Would have liked a slight change in menu in the Brassiere restaurant same choice on 2nd night of stay However the Spa day was amazing very attentive staff and good value for money Bell tents wonderful lots of extras and Champagne lunch fabulous.”
