“A fantastic place to stay. Dogs are very well catered for as are their humans. Fantastic staff who can not do enough for you. Out of all the places we have stayed with Max over the years this place is head and shoulders above the rest. Food is excellent too. Cannot recommend highly enough. Will be going back many times. 10 out of 10”

“All the staff at the Devonshire Fell are so welcoming and friendly. Our room was spacious and comfortable, with amazing views over the river valley. With all the love and biscuits she was receiving, our dog Bea didn’t want to leave any neither did we!”

“We had a wonderful night at the Devonshire Fell. The hotel is in a wonderful setting overlooking the River Wharfe and inside the decor is gorgeous. Our room had a fab bathroom room with bath and separate shower and gorgeous lovely Noble Isle toiletries. The room had all the facilities you could want including a proper coffee maker. The restaurant was temporarily closed the night we were there so they arranged for taxis to take us to the sister hotel, The Devonshire Arms for dinner. We had a wonderful meal in the brasserie accompanied by our labrador Jet. The service was excellent and the portions very generous. Breakfast served in the lovely conservatory was equally delicious and Jet enjoyed a sausage. Above all the staff were delightful: friendly and helpful and someone even brought back my shawl from the other hotel after I left it and gave it to me in the morning. We are planning to return!”

“Very dog friendly - dog even gets the option of a quality breakfast sausage or egg :-) my dog-son was really impressed . Most people had dogs and they were all well behaved , nice smelling and the staff could not do enough for everyone . Very inclusive and warm hotel management and staff . I will be booking to go again sometime . Local walks are great and the hotel offers free parking tickets to visit to Bolton Abbey - ( saving £9) .. there are two areas - riverside allows dogs on lead but if you go to the top car park and head to the abbey you can let them off the lead . Plenty toilets abs facilities . Rooms at the fell were lovely - the hotel is owned by the duke and duchess of Devonshire abs it is clear all staff from the deveinahire fell and sister pub the Devonshire arms that they love the dike and duchess abs that all staff have been well treated”

“My dog Rocco enjoyed his stay here. There was a treat for him on arrival and a little bag of dog treats nicely tied up with his name on the tag in our room. There was also a dog bowl. The room was lovely. He was allowed in the lovely bar and also in the conservatory with us while we had dinner and breakfast. Lovely views from here. The staff were great with all 3 dogs that were staying here. Lovely area with fab walks from the door.”

“Dixie my mini wire haired dachshund loved our stay at the Devonshire Fell She loved looking out of the window of our large room as she could see the river and across the fields towards the village The staff were super friendly towards her and she received lots of attention which she loves The evening meal was lovely as was our delicious breakfast and they even offered to give Dixie a sausage but as a sausage dog she preferred the bacon and black pudding The bed was super comfy and we had a lovely sleep One of the best ones I’ve had in a while so it must have been a super comfy bed Overall a great stay and we will definitely be back when the weather is sunnier”
