Myself, my partner and our cockapoo could not rate the Devonshire Fell highly enough. From the moment we walked in the staff made us all feel like we had come home. They provided us with loads of info on the best walks to go on and we're so friendly. The hotel itself was amazing, very clean, excellent food and the room had the most amazing view. The only down side was we were in the middle of storm Bert so we were unable to do as much walking as we had planned. We will definitely be returning.

The hotel is welcoming and the central facilities are good. Views from the conservatory are excellent. Although the hotel was not full the room was over the kitchen and a noisy extraction system. Views from my room were of the car park where delivery vehicles arrived at 6am. Walks in the area are great but there is no direct access from the hotel.

We had a delightful stay at The Devonshire Fell recently. The hotel is in a beautiful setting and, along with the grounds, is well maintained. Service and food were excellent and our dog was made to feel very welcome indeed. It is possible to dine with your dog in The Bistro area of the hotel, however, the main restaurant menu is not available which we found a little limiting. It would have been better to have access to both menus. The only thing that caused a problem was that our room was situated on the car park side of the hotel and we were awoken every morning at 6.30am by the sound of delivery vehicles.

We stayed for 1 night on our 17th wedding anniversary, with our dog Sasha, the staff were fantastic, the room was amazing as we were upgraded toa suite. The food both dinner and breakfast were the best we have had in a long time, perfectly cooked and interesting options at dinner.

A really great location near lots of walks in the Dales. A nice country house hotel. The friendly staff did everything to make the stay pleasant. It is quite pricey, but they do some good deals.

Really nice hotel in a great location. Our room on the second floor was unbearably hot, but we were lucky enough to have great weather! Food was very good quality, but very expensive. Also a very limited menu if you are staying more than one night. Booked through Pets Pyjamas and was offered Dinner Bed & Breakfast - however, dinner was NOT included, just a £30 per head allowance. This would have been ok normally, but a sirloin steak was £38. We felt a bit misled.

From the moment we arrived to the moment we left we were made to feel very welcome. Martha our dog got lots of cuddles and was made to feel the centre of attention, she loved her breakfast sausage. The room was clean and very spacious, the bed very comfortable. We loved the food both breakfast end evening meal. Thank you to all the staff who looked after us so well and made us feel so welcome. Martha loved you all
