This was our first visit to a dog-friendly hotel and with family there were six of us plus two dogs. We were made welcome by Tammy and her team and well looked after for our short stay. We were surprised how many dogs were there but it was generally harmonious. Ground floor room was convenient for exiting with dog. Room was small but comfy. Lounge space is limited but restaurant is spacious and comfortable. Our three meals there were all excellent. We would certainly stay there again.

Nothing was perfect but everything was wonderful, Tammy and her team made our stay a fabulous one, first time away with our dog and he couldn't have been more spoilt. The rooms were great with tiled floors so no worry about accidents, should there be one, we had a downstairs room near the emergency exit which we were free to use for direct outside access. Everything was spotlessly clean, tea & coffee tray well stocked with fine products, the attention to detail of a mirror near a plug for hair drying, bliss! There was a large party in the dining room but our food arrived well cooked and in a timely fashion, breakfast was equally delicious. Really can't recommend Bourne Valley Inn highly enough.

There were several fireworks displays nearby and main reason we went was to try and avoid them. Nice comfy rooms. Food good. Big portions but main course of venison faggots surprisingly bit bland and with instant tasting gravy. Breakfast took about 25 mins to arrive. No apology or explanation. Lovely picturesque village a short walk away

We stayed one night with our cockapoo. They advertise as being super dog friendly. I didn't quite agree with this. There was nothing in the room for the dog (bowl, basket, towel, treat or whatever) and there was no bin anywhere outside to dispose of our dog bag, so we took it with us! She received a sausage for breakfast, but besides that, I didn't feel they were super dog friendly, just "dogs are welcome"

The Inn was in a lovely setting with plenty of dog walks available. The staff were very kind, friendly and helpful. There is a delightful seating area where you can sit and it's lit in the evenings so you can enjoy a drink in the fine weather. The only downside for me was that I hadn't realised that the access to my bedroom was up a flight of very steep stairs. I'm 81 and my dog is 9 years old so we found it quite difficult. As they were fully booked there was no way they could help but I think had I known about the stairs I would have requested a date when a groundfloor room was available.

Lovely staff and beer garden at the Inn. Penny was treated like a celebrity with a bed, bowl and biscuits on arrival. Excellent breakfast and relaxed atmosphere. Our room was on the small side and very dark deco and needs upgrading.

We had a wonderful stay at Bourne Valley Inn! Rooms were perfect, we have a German Shepherd size dog and he was very comfortable, we packed his bed, however there was a lovely bed supplied, so he used both! Our bed was super comfortable! Dog treats at the ready in the room as well which was a lovely touch. The whole team was so welcoming, food was delicious and sausages for breakfast every morning for Huxley(dog) Fantastic walks, one happy dog and very happy dog owners! Highly recommend Bourne Valley Inn. We will definitely be back!
