“Pets Pyjamas we summoned with the task of finding us a dog friendly place to spend New Year’s Eve with our friends and a total of 4 dogs and they certainly came up trumps with The White Horse. We spent two nights here and the place is really dog friendly, there were lots of people there with their pooches. The rooms are perfect with wood floors so no worrying about muddy paws on carpets. Comfy beds and modern bathrooms. They are situated around a grassy courtyard to the rear of the pub so are perfect for letting doggies out to do the necessary. The surrounding walks in the South Downs are amazing. The pub is warm and welcoming and the food of a very high standard. We had an indulgence room, with a hot tub, which was an extra luxury and the dogs we given beds and bowls too. We are definitely going to rebook.”

“We stayed for NYE and it was the best experience. This pub/hotel is the most dog friendly place we have been to. Every staff member loved dogs and made us feel so welcome. Treats were constantly available and our pampered pooch even received a cooked breakfast. We had lunch and breakfast in the restaurant at the hotel and all the food was AMAZING! The rooms were also perfect. They were modern with a country theme - clean and spacious. The hotel has beautiful country walks on the door step. Whilst we were at the hotel, we were recommended to go to West Wittering Beach - and we loved it and I would definitely recommend anyone staying at the hotel to take a trip. I couldn’t recommend this hotel enough. It’s simply amazing and a great treat. We will definitely be going back and taking our friends. Also - a little bit about pet pyjamas - I would definitely book through them. They were coming in cheaper than other sites and we received a goody bag that was a lovely touch. It was hassle free and speaking to an agent - she completely recommended this trip - and it was amazing”
