“We have just got home after a 3 night stay at The White Horse over Christmas. We had a fantastic time, clean stylish modern room with an amazing bath. Staff were all friendly, welcoming and happy to help. The pub is really cosy, Food looked and tasted great. Dog friendly and some great walks surrounding the pub. Definitely recommend visiting!”

“Absolutely lovely night away with the two dogs. Rooms were stunning, pub was very accommodating for the dogs. Friendly staff and amazing food! Highly recommend.”

“Pets Pyjamas recommended this hotel as an alternative to The Goodwood Hotel who do not take puppies under a year old. It was a great choice. We chose a room that had a private patio and hot tub. This was perfect to allow us to enjoy the hot tub and let our puppy roam the patio safely. There is a large garden for residents where dogs can roam freely. The food was fantastic and dogs can eat in the bar area. The only small downside was the room size was quite small. We brought our large dog crate and it was a tight squeeze to fit it into the room. But we shuffled some furniture around and it worked great. The staff are all dog friendly and happy to accommodate. Would definitely recommend. Pets Pyjamas were also also brilliant in helping us find the best places for our trip. We will definitely use them again.”

“Dog made very welcome. Dorcas had scrambled eggs for breakfast which she loved Evening meals fantastic Super enormous copper bath”

Would you like to add any more feedback about your stay? I would recommend a visit to The White Horse, Sussex, just be aware it can be a bit pricey.

“Great location, extremely dog friendly, comfortable room and bed. The fresh milk each morning on the doorstep was a nice touch. Outdoor area lovely and well kept, however it seemed staff shortages in the hospitality sector have impacted and quite often, glasses, plates etc were left for very long period of time. The bar and food service varied, depending on who was on duty, some staff were more clued up than others and some more invested in providing a good service than others. Hence we did feel that 10% on drink purchases was a very excessive.”
