“Staff, food location and rooms were all incredible. The facilities for dogs are amazing and the staff made them feel so welcome, in the bar, restaurant and rooms. The dogs particularly loved the sausages for breakfast”

Would you like to add any more feedback about your stay? Located just to the South of the stunning walks and vistas along the South Downs, and just 12 miles north of the AONB Chichester natural harbour. This is the perfect place to explore the area. Drive to Ichenor harbour for a walk along the path to the so

“Food was excellent. Staff were very friendly. Wonderfull with the dog. Accommodation was simple, very comfortable, could have benefited from a fridge. The walking maps were a bit outdated, but the view from Bow Hill was worth the walk. Attention to detail was impressive. We had the Pheasant room. The cushions had pheasant covers and there was a painting of a pheasant on the wall. Very impressed. We are looking forward to visiting again.”

Would you like to add any more feedback about your stay? The restaurant was warm and cosy and the food was tasty, good value and very well presented. Also having our rather timid dog with us he was made to feel very welcome and this made us also a lot more relaxed

“What we expected and what we got were two totally different things. The White Horse was absolutely beautiful with a lovely friendly atmosphere, very helpful and courteous staff, and the room we had was clean, well-presented and full of quirky charm.”

“We had two nights in this lovely pub. The food was excellent and the service superb. It was very doggy friendly and we were able to eat with him in the restaurant also. The location was excellent and only about 10 minutes into Chichester. I thoroughly recommend a doggy stay here!”

“Amazing location, great pub with lovely food and very helpful staff. The rooms are very well appointed and super comfy for both humans and all four-legged friends. This was our 2nd stay here and we will certainly be back for another as soon as we can. As pet parents, we can't recommend it highly enough!”
