We were made to feel very welcome by everyone and our puppy Archie was greeted by all the staff with enthusiasm. This put our minds at rest - as this was our first getaway with Archie who is 8 months old, a cockerpoo with typical bouncy behaviour. Our ground-floor room had a terrace with great views and was very warm and comfortable for our early December weekend away. The food was excellent (we dined in for both nights) and we will definitely come back again. Just 2 miles from Conwy and Morfa beach - perfect.

Would you like to add any more feedback about your stay? The only adverse comment I could make is the waiting time for meals can sometimes be a bit excessive.
Our first but hopefully not our last visit to this inn. A very warm reception on our arrival and throughout our stay by all the staff especially Will and David. The food was excellent, even Daisy (the dog) looked forward to attending knowing biscuits were on offer. There were a couple of very minor issues not worthy of comment. We would certainly recommend it.

Superb staff - nothing was too much trouble, VERY friendly and all doggy fans. Two reasons for not being 5 star: food sevice very slow, we waited almost an hour from ordering to receiving; bathroom needed a refurb where water had obviously continuously leaked from showering. CAUTION - I know that businesses have not fully recovered from the COVID situation and this could explain the problems. Bedroom large with great views and balcony. Would recommend without hesitation.

Would you like to add any more feedback about your stay? The room got quiet hot, so having windows to open on hot days would have been nice, we left the door open to the terrace in the end. There was a fan in the room however which we also used. The Inn is on a main road, which may not suit everyone, however
This was my first trip back to Wales since a child and with dogs! I would visit the Groes Inn again in the future. I found the accommodation spacious, the food tasty and a good selection. The staff were very helpful and polite and welcomed us and the 2 dogs. Our room had a terrace backing onto a field. Waking up to sheep outside was different and nice. Definitely a nice place to stay, with or without dogs

The Groes inn is, by far, one of the best places we have stayed with our 2 dogs. The place is very well kept and the surrounding area is just stunning. We opted for a room with a terrace that overlooks the fields behind the hotel. The room was very nice, cozy and very clean. The restaurant is an impressive old pub with plenty of character and uniqueness. The food was very good with a great deal of choice and at a very reasonable price. We will definitely be back, this time in spring!
