“We enjoyed our short stay at Woolly Grange Hotel. Lottie especially had a warm welcome, lots of fuss and a breakfast sausage. We were impressed with the dog washing facilities should we have needed it. The grounds are perfect for morning and evening walks. It is a family hotel so be prepared for quite a few young children. The staff were very good and found us a quite corner! The Hotel itself does need upgrading, we were told they were embarking on renovations in 2025. Saying all that it was very warm comfortable and welcoming”

“Woolley Grange is an old Jacobean house with a warm welcome. All the staff were lovely and our room was spacious and clean we had the Birdie room in the courtyard, great for our dog as she had room to run around. The gardens are lovely for dogs, space to run and play. The breakfast was lovely and Woolley Grange is located near to Bath and the main Cotswolds areas. We really enjoyed our stay. We were told the hotel is going to be updated later this year/ next year we would love to return then and see the new improved Woolley Grange”

“Stayed for a Saturday night whilst the weather was very hot. Staff lovely and the grounds are stunning. The hotel is nicely decorated and the room was very nice. The hotel was very busy at the weekend with day visitors and this meant the swimming pools were full of kids. Dinner in the evening was expensive and the service was poor. We waited 40 mins after mains and no one came to ask about dessert. Second round of drinks never arrived. Very dog friendly and I would stay again but probably only mid week.”

“Thoroughly enjoyed our stay, Oscar was warmly welcomed and greeted with a lovely dog bed and treat. His humans were treated equally well! Wonderful staff, who couldn't do enough for us, the food and room and ambience were amazing. Thank you for a lovely stay.”

“Hi Pets Pyjamas team Thank you for a fantastic stay at the Woolley Grange Hotel in January. Our humans had a lovely relaxing time, it went too quickly to enjoy all the facilities but we hope to return. The rooms are very comfortable, all the team so helpful and extremely friendly. Us doggies (2) were welcomed with biscuits at reception and super comfy beds in the rooms plus bowls and brilliant toys which we played with. Sandy loved the squeaky toy. It was so thoughtful to have a fridge in the room for the doggie food.”

Would you like to add any more feedback about your stay? Our Beagle, Callum wants to say thank you, he loved his welcome pack and the kind attention received from all.

“We arrived before lunch and were in our room in twenty minutes, it was a good size and well appointed. Very clean throughout. On one of the hottest days this year the staff had thought of it all and closed the heavy curtains and a fan had been running for some time so the room was cool. We had booked dinner and it was most enjoyable, we had a small dining room for visitors with dogs which is unusual but very satisfactory. The food was excellent and the breakfast, good quality and well prepared. All staff were friendly and very attentive, always concerned we had all we needed nothing was too much trouble, thank you so much. The grounds were good and ideal for children. Thank you Woolley Grange and Pets Pyjamas for an enjoyable break. Here’s to the next time.”
