This was our 1st time staying in a hotel with our dog. The staff were so friendly and helpful with any questions we had and made our stay very comfortable. The hotel has a dog friendly restaurant so we did not have to leave her in the room whilst we ate. The hotel was great, the food and service was excellent. A very enjoyable stay Thank you. Definitely recommend this hotel.

Location: Perfect for dogs with no road traffic and once you're out of the village, plenty of opportunity for some off lead time. The setting is very peaceful, lovely gardens and very picturesque. Restaurant/Dining: A separate dining room for all meals with your dog and with the option of dining in the lovely gardens. The food was brilliant with plenty of choices for both breakfast and dinner with lots of locally sourced produce. Rooms: Whilst the setting and the food were great, the room itself was a little on the basic side and in need of some updating. I would stay again based on the price paid and the setting

We spent 3 nights in the hotel with our dog. Lovely location but several little niggles about the hotel which in my opinion did not render it value for money. The staff were very pleasant and helpful, but the actual rooms were very small and there were only 4 coat hangers allocated to each room. The dining tables in the restaurant were very small and the dinner plates were very large so it was a struggle for 4 of us to dine. Several other petty niggles but when all added up together made it a rather disappointing experience

Would you like to add any more feedback about your stay? If I had paid direct for my stay - I would have paid a great deal more. I will definately book through Pets Pyjamas for any future stays
Staff could not have been more welcoming. I loved the fact that my Dog could come with me almost everywhere in the hotel. The Gardens are beautiful and the addition of the plastic domes was a delight as the weather was not very special. The Food was excellent and they accomodated my difficult eating issues as a result of throat cancer. My only comment would be that the bedrooms were a bit "travel lodge" but Im not surprised as they allowed dogs in them. The bed was very comfortable though. A box of tissues would be a useful addition, instead of using loo roll The walk from Bucklers Hard to Beaulieu was lovely and I enjoyed an icecream and wander round the village when I got there

Would you like to add any more feedback about your stay? Think the rooms are very over priced for what you get
Recently stayed at the Master Builder's for 3 nights. The hotel is lovely, situated next to the beautiful Buckler's Hard. Booked what they call a 'posh' room. The room is nicely decorated, don't get me wrong, but definitely not what I would call posh, and it was very small. We had 2 dogs with us and it was really cramped, we were constantly having to move things around so we didn't fall over them.

The master's Builder has a really lovely outdoor space overlooking the harbour and the river, we really enjoyed our drinks and meals there. They have aseparate restaurant room for guests with dogs, so that is also very nice. The food was really good - despite them having an issue with the gas while we were there that meant they had to re-think the menu completely. The only reason why they do not get 5 stars is the rooms are a bit small and simple (although they do have a bowl for your dog, and a bed- altough my dog did not want to sleep there)
