The hotel was lovely, staff couldn't do enough for you, quite a few dogs but all well behaved you wouldn't have known dogs were there. The room was fine but nothing for the dog, if we hadn't taken our own blanket, bowls and food there was nothing. for the dog. Bucklers Hard was beautiful we all had a great time furry friend included.

The hotel was well set up for dogs , the staff were friendly and helpful. It is worth noting there is limited off lead walking nearby , and the nearest restaurants and pubs are a drive away.

Would you like to add any more feedback about your stay? All the dog related items included in the package were ‘forgotten’, although staff were very quick to remedy when it was drawn to their attention.
Public areas and staff are great, but the dog friendly rooms are not very dog or human "friendly". They are located next to the car park, with the single small window overlooking it. It is a gravel car park and is very noisy and busy. We are early to bed people and the car headlights lit up the room and the dogs barked at the noise. Dog rooms are small and sparsely furnished, with a small tired bathroom. Unfortunately there are no upgraded dog rooms so we decided to let our second night go and to return to our home comforts. Shame because the location is wonderful and common areas pleasant. We wouldn't stay in their dog rooms again.

Fabulous hotel with loads of history, very friendly staff and other patrons, especially towards our lovely Labradoodles. Beautiful white bed linen and plenty of soft white towels, super-powerful shower and lovely touch with the dog beds being provided along with treats, poo bags and dog bowls. The fridge in the room was really useful and fresh milk was an added nice touch. We also ate some delicious meals in the dog-friendly restaurant. The only small negative was the positioning of the electric sockets, making it impossible to plug our many electrical items in without having to move the furniture and there was a bench in the room which was surplus to requirements and could have given us a little more space for our two rather large dogs - didn't detract from our very relaxing break.

The Master Builder's were great lovely food and accommodation. However we discovered the evening before that they had double booked our room and as we had planned a whole weekend around our stay this was very disappointing!!! For our second night we were sent to Spot in the Woods, which is due to close in about 3 weeks so was rather sad! For us it turned out to be more convenient although it was an absolute hastle to change venues after one night and reorganise our friends!!! I wasn't very happy at all.

Great couple of nights at The Master Builder’s Hotel. Lovely rooms, staff were super helpful and friendly, everything laid on the the dog, but it’s not all about the dogs - in a good way. Separate area in the restaurant for those with 4 legged friends which worked really well. Food was delicious as well - limited menu but also a good thing. Highly recommended.

We had a lovely time with our two dogs, everything & the staff were very dog friendly. Dogs beds, bowls, treats, Pooh bags provided. Doggy dinner was also available if wanted in the restaurant. Good food, lovely views and great local walks. No need to get in the car once there. We would recommend it and already have to friends with dogs.

The rooms for those with dogs are in a separate block which is a fairly cheaply put together set of basic rooms with bathrooms that are very small and need replacing. Double bed was two single mattresses with a very obvious middle bit! Staff all very friendly, setting lovely, food good (albeit service was slow and average) They do make a fuss of the dog and there is a bed and some treats in the room
