Would you like to add any more feedback about your stay? The staff were particularly helpful and welcoming- nothing was too much trouble.
From the minute we arrived we and our dogs were made to feel very welcome. The grounds are wonderful for dog walking and we were able to eat and drink with them if we wanted to in the drawing room or library.

Would you like to add any more feedback about your stay? Great service and wonderful team at The Ickworth hotel
What can we say, this was my first time using PetsPyjamas service and from start to finish, the whole service was incredible. Staying at Ickworth was a wonderful find, the hotel is beautiful in terms of location and accommodation. The team who manage the hotel are so helpful, kind and very considerate, nothing was too much for them to organise. They loved having Kojo our puppy everytime we went for dinner or breakfast, I have never stayed anyway with this kind of service. We are definitely booking again, great value for money and everyone you met were so friendly including the guests too. Thank you for making our anniversary so special, will definitely be using PetsPyjamas again, I was promoting your business over the weekend too. Thank you from Giorgia, Danny and Kojo (our puppy) x

The hotel is in a lovely setting for walks. The rooms and the pool are very nice. The food was mostly very good but with some exceptions. They were very busy but I've never had to sit and wait so long for breakfast in a hotel as we did on the first morning despite booking all our meals well in advance. The staff were friendly but I'd say the hotel was more family friendly than dog friendly. Reception didn't appear to know where the dog poo bin was! We were on the second floor where the rooms were very hot. We used the lift most of the time but on the first morning it was out of order for a few hours and my husband had to carry our 13 year old labrador Cross up the stairs. I think covid has really affected the hotel as the staff were very friendly but inexperienced and disorganised. I'm sure in a few months time things will get much better. Our dog was happy being left in the bedroom so we were able to eat in the restaurant. We would still probably return because of the wonderful setting.

We took our Italian greyhound here for a 2 night stay and he was treated like an absolute king. You’re not allowed to take dogs into the formal dining room but that’s no problem at all because there are two other rooms to eat in. They’re happy for you to leave your dog in your room while you dine and also offered to look after them at the reception too. They were also able to supply us with a mini fridge to store our dogs food in within the room. Overall, a lovely stay in a comfy room within beautiful country side with loads of great walks. We’ll definitely be back!

Very much a country house hotel, with decor and furniture to suit. Check-in was smooth and welcoming, and lots of good advice from reception including urgently booking a table for (Pre paid) dinner as restaurant was very busy. Room was fine and they had left a nice dog bed and bowl for our Springer. A 30 min dog walk in the grounds just before sunset with Storm Dennis howling through the trees. Then a swim in hotel pool before dinner. Dinner was good despite full restaurant and the service was fine. Breakfast was also good, and they made sure our gluten free daughter was well looked after. Slight negative for us was dog having to always be on the lead In the grounds. Also, debate over dinner bill at check out - we booked DB&B for 2 adults and one child and they tried to charge us for our daughters dinner. They took it off the bill in the end. A last (lead-on) dog walk in the stunning grounds before the long drive home.

A fabulous setting at this magnificent National Trust stately home. Genuinely dog-friendly and people friendly staff with a comfortable, informal atmosphere. Great sofas for all to lounge on. Menus feature superb locally sourced ingredients. Take care with the bed to ensure that it isn't too hard for you though. We stayed in the Blomfield room and the mattress was thin, hard and tired.
