It is a really lovely place - everything was great. The room, the really helpful staff, fabulous service and food, and magnificent views. A warning for nervous drivers - the steep and narrow hill down to the hotel might be a little off putting. We really recommend this hotel.

What an amazing bunch of people work here! They couldn't have made our stay any better! Fantastic food, beautiful accommodation and sausage treats for our dog's breakfast! Very definitely dog friendly! Thank you.

Would you like to add any more feedback about your stay? The area should be explained properly by pets pyjamas as this would not be good for elderly or someone with a disability
We had been looking forward to this due covid and the first time we could get away, unfortunately it does not deserve the rating it has. The views are amazing and the food is good, however location is bad and nothing is explained explained you. The beach is small and stoney and on a very steep hill so is worrying with children. There is another beach you can walk to but not easy with a pram. This place is more for couples only and not as dog friendly and child friendly as it looks. If you need to walk the dogs then you have to go up numerous steps to access the woods being the only suitable area, this is not suitable for prams, disabled or elderly. The spa was lovely and the pool and cannot be faulted. Unfortunately the room was not that clean and the beds were made but never changed and the place not hoovered, which is despairing for such a place. The lounge is nice but the pool room is silly as you cannot play properly due to the room being so small, there is also lots of dust falling from the light in the pool room. The location is not good as on such a steep hill that no cabs like to come down as they burn their clutches out. Also some of the staff were rude and walked around with miserable faces, the only member of staff that really stood out was a man called Lewis, he was fantastic and customer care was second to none, he should be a manager as nothing was too much for him and everybody I saw him walk past, he asked if they were OK and if they needed anything, he needs a pay rise and a promotion as he could teach some of the others customer care.

We had an amazing experience at the Cary Arms. The staff are some of the kindest around. Our little pup, Rambo, sometimes gets overwhelmed with noises, etc. and they were incredibly accommodating! During dinner, they moved us to a quiet room and let us eat in there so Rambo could enjoy the meal as well! They were helpful from the moment we arrived and made us feel incredibly comfortable having our pup there with us. We are already talking about our next trip there and that we want to bring more family members. It truly was such a great experience!
