Would you like to add any more feedback about your stay? Car parked further uphill not a place for good walks or any choice of other restraunts.

“Great location but hotel needed updating as only whicker chair and 1 hard chair in room other than sitting on bed. Outside balcony not safe for small dogs as quite a drop. Given rock! What older people can eat rock! Dog package must have cost all of 50p tennis ball 2 chews and 2 poobags. Food expensive and average. Staff brilliant best part of it very friendly.”

“Wow! What a hidden gem, picturesque property full of character with the most amazing view, right on the water’s edge. Wonderful modern, cosy beach hut overlooking the sea. Magnificent breakfasts, delicious lunches and refined dinners. And the best but - the most fantastic staff you’ll find anywhere. Incredibly friendly, genuinely happy and helpful team who make it their pleasure to make you and your dog feel welcome and at home. So good we extended our stay and we’ll definitely come back.”

“Lovely overnight stay at this beautifully located hotel. Ideally set up for dogs with doggie welcome packs. Great location onto the beach where our 2 Labradors enjoyed a swim in the sea. Friendly staff, great facilities and good food for the humans to enjoy too.”

“First time using pets pyjamas and visit to Cary Arms. Overall was so impressed. The Cary Arms was brilliant for a stay with the dog. We stayed in one of the huts - so spacious and comfortable. Staff were lovely. Our dog got lots of love and attention. We look forward to going back!”

“From our arrival to departure, all hotel staff were so charming and always courteous. Our dog was over the moon throughout of his stay. Lots of kind attentions to him by staff and the guests”

“From the moment we arrived till the moment we left we were made to feel so welcome and as if nothing was too much trouble at The Cary Arms. The room was perfect for us and our labrador Misty. A small outside balcony had an amazing view of the sea and although we had to walk through the hotel to take Misty ‘outside’ it was much less onerous than I imagined. Also less of a problem than I thought it would be was the fact that the car is parked up the hill. The hotel are very efficient at either fetching it for you, or giving you a lift up to it in their electric van. We breakfasted and dined both nights, Misty included, and the food is exceptional, as is the ambience in the restaurant. The only qualm I had was the nespresso coffee maker, and that’s just because I like a big cup of coffee! Otherwise I can’t fault this wonderful hotel amd really hope I can return soon.”

“We had a fabulous short break. Our room was lovely with some special touches, tasty treats and a bedtime tipple provided. Lincoln our Portuguese Water Dog had treats, a bed, bowls and even poo bags! The parking is a little scary for the less confident driver, but fear not as concierge are so happy to help. My only less negative comment is that our bathroom was so large a walk in shower as well as a bath could easily be fitted rather than a shower over the bath. But no big deal. Loved our stay and will return, missing the breakfast already!”
