“Have nothing but praise for the Llawnroc Hotel and the wonderful staff who work there. We had probably one of the best weeks holiday with our two dogs possible, due to the incredible weather and the location of the hotel in the beautiful Gorran Haven. “Good afternoon. Mixed reviews from this trip. We were met by the receptionist who was welcoming and knowledgeable about good spots to the the dogs. That. however was the last time we saw anyone on reception the entire stay. The Room was lovely everything we needed in a room for the dogs. However the stagmnent water on the conservatory just below our balcony didn't smell nice in the heat and didn't look good. The dog area had an overflowing poo bin and lots of random chairs. It looked like more of a derilict area /dumping ground. The area could of done with a cut along. with a few of the other areas around the hotel. The food in the restaurant was amazing for dinner and breakfast. However the service was slow and it wasn't busy. The waitresses weren't attentive. Didn't clear menus away drinks etc. They were young it felt like it needed a senior figure to organise them”

“Fantastic, friendly beautifuly presented hotel. The staff were fantastic, very welcoming and helpful. We took our Sproodle Peggy, it's the most dog friendly hotel we have ever stayed in. We had dinner in the restaurant and a light mezze on the terrace. Both meals were delicious and great value for the quality. I highly recommend The Llawnroc Hotel”

Would you like to add any more feedback about your stay? Breakfast more fresh fruit and choice of breads for a continental one. Cooked excellent choice.

“This hotel has been updated recently and is modern and clean and in a good location. The indoor and outdoor spaces were very good, including a dog exercise area with a poo bin. Bedroom was spacious, included a fridge and our labrador had plenty of room. The restaurant welcomed our dog, giving a breakfast sausage, and provided us with very good food. The hotel has a car park. The beach is small but the coastal path allows access to others. The staff were very dog friendly and provided local information.”

Would you like to add any more feedback about your stay? I had an accident in the bathroom. I tried to talk to management but they never responded.

“Room was comfortable and clean. However decor and plumbing in need of maintenance every where. Gardens and car park looked uncared for. No management available ever. Definitely not a luxury hotel. Restaurant,which is separately run was of a fine dining standard and excellent.”

Would you like to add any more feedback about your stay? The dog gift in the room was a poo bag and three broken biscuits!

“The hotel was well decorated and we have no complaints about the room, view, or location. We did however find it to be lacking in any atmosphere. It was very quiet and the main restaurant area was closed. It felt like the hotel was experiencing problems. There were minimal staff working. All in all a bit disappointing although comfortable”

“Lovely hotel in a really pretty location. Room was large, nicely decorated and had good facilities. The staff were extremely friendly and accommodating and the breakfast and dinner in the restaurant was excellent. Our spaniel was also made very welcome. Would definitely stay again.”
