“absolutely adored this place, as did our two dogs, a labrador and a lurcher. What a wonderful spot, the most beautiful part of the coutryside, and we just loved our room, which had french doors straight out into the garden, a real boon given that one of our hounds is elderly and arthritic, so stairs not ideal. thoroughly recommend walking the footpaths to the nearest pub, The Barley Mow, which i think is the most dog-friendly pub i've been to (more dogs than humans, definitely worth booking). On our crepuscular walk back we spotted deer, rabbits, bats and a barn owl out hunting. Perfection. Incredible cooked breakfast in the morning, too, before we headed off to the beach at west wittering. Loved it!”

“Loved our stay at Lordington Park. We were only there for one night but it felt so nice to go somewhere that actually like dogs. Our hotel rooms were lovely and there’s so much in surrounding grounds and walks. Would totally recommend!”

“Overall a lovely spot with great surroundings. The property is beautiful and well appointed and staff are very (very accommodating) dog friendly rooms are ideal for 4 legged friends and surrounding pubs welcoming so recommend the Fox & Hounds and Barley Mow. We will be back”

Would you like to add any more feedback about your stay? Thank you for having us. The information in the cottage was great and very helpful with the walking routes. I wanted to tackle the 18 miler but we didn't stay for long enough. Next time :0) Good luck for the future, hope your business flourishes

“We stayed in Rose Cottage (self catering) for one night with our dog. The cottage was lovely. All amenties we needed, cosy and clean. Had a good dog walk when we arrived, about an hour loop on a trail, and stopped at The Barley Mow pub, on our route back, which was really great. Very warm and welcoming and dog friendly even though we felt awful wearing our wellies we were still very welcomed. In the afternoon we went to West Whittering beach which was fabulous at low tide and the dog loved the sand. We added breakfast in the main house on Sunday morning. The house is absolutely beautiful. Didn't even want to stand on the carpet :0) Breakfast was gorgeous. We thought it would be a perfect location for a wedding. We would return but for 2 nights as 1 wasn't long enough to do all of the walking we would have been able to do.”

“What a lovely property and setting. Great for the dogs and us. Fabulous room and breakfasts were beautifully cooked and enjoyed. Great location to get to both the Downs and the coast….well done Harriet et al, you have a winning combination”

“Please go and see for yourself how beautiful this place is and the owners are so nice to. If you want a nice relaxing break then this is perfect beautiful countryside and lovely walks. Breakfast was lovely a good selection. Exactly what pets pyjamas described. Just a short walk to local pub or a short drive to the nearest towns and harbour and beach. Perfect location and stunning cottages.”
